A&B BBQ

What a gem! Every single dish we had was excellent! The brisket was so tender and the sides just right… Did I mention pie? Homemade pie that was phenomenal. This may just be my favorite barbecue joint!

We were passing through the area and stopped for an early supper. My wife really enjoyed the brisket and slaw. I had a huge pile of chopped pork with fries and slaw. Both meats were tender, moist, and tasty. The fries were cut in an odd spiral shape and were crispy on the outside. The ladies were very helpful and friendly. The casual decor was a combination of patriotism and scriptures and pigs. Instead of collecting tips, they have a pail for ministry donations. They use the donations to help local neighbors meet their needs. If we are in the area near meal time, we will stop again.

Stopped in and boy were we pleasantly surprised! We ordered the brisket plate. Nice portion and the fries... Holy cow!! If we're ever out that way again, this is a definite stop!! That brisket is definitely competition worthy!

12/28/24 Stopped here because of the good reviews. The reviews were spot on! Excellent bbq, friendly service. Hashbrown casserole is delicious, omg the bologna is amazing as is their sauce. I'm a slaw chic and I'll vouch for the slaw I liked it👍🏻 Check out the weekly specials.

We have been picking up BBQ from A&B for several years. It is a must stop any time we are in Mayfield. I have even driven from Benton on occasion just for some BBQ. We tried their ribs today and they were delicious. Fall off the bone tender, excellent flavor, and a good price. We will definitely be adding that to our regular order. To know it’s a family owned and operated business is an added bonus. Give them a try. It will be worth the trip.
