Aaha Kitchen, First Indian Restaurant - Celina

I was glad to see an Indian restaurant open nearby.The ambience is alright, and the customer service is decent too. However, they really need to step up when it comes to the food. The portion sizes for the appetizers are small considering the price. The fish was disappointing — full of dye, seemed at least a few days old, and smelled rotten. I wasn’t expecting that on a Friday evening. The mutton was tough and soggy, while the chicken was somewhat passable. We also ordered biryanis separately — they were okay, but I wouldn't really call them biryani. Why would you put curry leaves in a biryani?

I’ve ordered from this restaurant multiple times now, trying a mix of starters and their Mutton Dum Biryani, hoping to find a reliable spot for Indian non-veg dishes in this area. Unfortunately, it’s been a hit-or-miss experience, leaning more towards disappointment overall. Starters (Tried three different ones across orders): Consistently underwhelming. None of them had any real flavor – they tasted bland, under-seasoned, and lacked the expected spice kick or aroma that good Indian starters should have. Whether it was the first order (two types) or the third (another one), they all fell flat. If you’re planning to order appetizers, I’d strongly suggest skipping them or looking elsewhere. I had the chicken fried rice here, and it tastes just like the ones back in India! The quality, taste, and quantity are all top-notch. I highly recommend visiting this restaurant — it’s absolutely worth it!

I had the cilantro chicken and the pachimirchi kodi pulav — both were absolutely delicious! Great quality, quantity, and each dish is easily enough for two people. The flavors were spot-on, and the service was excellent. Definitely coming back

Ordered Mutton Dum Biryani as suggested but the entire meat is waste bones with less than 1% meat and everything is bone. Taste seems ok like Hyderabad style but with extra elachi flavor. Parchi Mirchi Pulao is a total wack and worst chicken taste and no taste of pulao. Finally the appetizer Aaha Special Chicken 999, where 999 seems to be a mix of 999 chicken recipes. This taste so worse that it's a mix of pepper chicken and chicken Manchurian with less soy sauce and more pepper and veggies, even the veggies added aren't sauteed well. Total Wack and Waste of 50$ on this. I completely ignored the previous reviews. I feel those all 4 and 5 STAR reviews are Fake or Self made. Just make them taste better for the price we are paying. TOTAL WASTE AND WORSE FOOD!!!!
