A1 Japanese Steak House

My family and I love this place. The staff is very nice and accommodating. Its fun for all ages. My kids ar 11 and 10 but we have been sat with kids as young as 3 or 4 that enjoy the experience just as much. The prices are high (I easily spend 170+ for 5 adult habachi meals) but its well worth it in my opinion. You get a good amount of food and the cooks are always so fun and engaging. We have been to similar places and this one always wins. They also have another location in Levittown, PA. As far as I know it is still open in Levittown.

I came here to dinner with a large group with almost 20 people. The restaurant did a great job of accommodating us The servers did a good job with the service and the chef was cool. The food was great and there was enough of it. This is the best hibachi restaurant in Allentown.

I was there tonight 02/13/2026. I usually go to a different Japanese grill but I had a lot of people recommend this restaurant to me so I decided to give it a chance. When you first walk in the atmosphere is gorgeous. But once you sit down that all changes. It's a very cramped space. The plates are so old that they're chipping and falling apart. Then when the chef comes out and starts to make the food he only puts one egg in the fried rice that was meant for seven different people. There wasn't enough rice for all seven people. Nothing with seasoned properly. It was very dry and bland. And the vegetables were hard. I also ordered extra fried rice which I never received but was charged for. Then when the chef poured out the extra sauces of the side for everybody he made an absolute mess all

We had 10 people and 1 baby in our party. We called ahead and placed a reservation for 4:30, and didn't get seated until 5, despite arriving right on time. The waiting area does have a nice couch though, and a pretty tree. The menus are very used, with some written edits and some text printed wrong. The food was very good, tasted exactly like every other hibachi. The prices are somewhat expected of an average hibachi grill, but there are other options in the area with higher quality experiences and the same pricing. Just go to Kome.

So I brought my daughter in ex wife to eat there I told him I had a Mushroom allergy. Neither do my daughter and ex wife eate mushrooms. Yet they brung out our food with mushrooms. They had an attitude one I specifically said, i cannot have it. Then they expected an extra tip on top of the built-in gratitude tip On the bill. The\n Food was not all that good either. And we all left very disappointed.
