A Taste of Everything

The food here is just like my grandmother used to make! It’s so good & familiar it’s crazy! All the food comes in to go containers so its way easier to bring leftovers home. I highly recommend this place if you want good ol southern soul food! They make each food order fresh so you just have to wait but it is completely worth it! Im getting the side yams next time as they are the best yams I have had in years!

Yesterday my sister took me to this restaurant for my birthday. From the moment I walked through the door, I knew this place was special. The customer service here is truly top tier—warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming in a way you don’t find often anymore. Every staff member I interacted with made me feel valued and taken care of, like I was a guest in their home instead of just a customer. And the food? Absolutely phenomenal. This is soul food done right—rich, flavorful, perfectly seasoned, and made with obvious love. Every dish tasted like it came straight from someone’s family kitchen. The mac and cheese was creamy and unforgettable, the fried cabbage were seasoned to perfection, and the fried catfish had that perfect crisp you dream about. Even the baked chicken was next-level.

I had an amazing experience with Taste Of Everything. The owner’s hospitality was warm and welcoming, making the experience feel personal and genuine. The food was delicious, truly home-cooked, and full of flavor. You can tell it is made with care and love. I left completely satisfied and would highly recommend Taste Of Everything to anyone looking for great food and excellent hospitality, especially with the convenience of being open late night.

My mom I & came from VA Beach for Sunday Dinner. We ordered 4 dinners, two side orders of chitterlings and potato salad. The greens were so salty that I tried rinsing them but it didn't work. The potato salad was runny and tasted like sugar. Mac & cheese flavorless and the cornbread was so flat it was unrecognizable. The chicken was very salty as well. Don't waste your money!! Go to Renee's down the street. We spent $85.00 and had to throw the food in the garbage.......
