A Little Cafe

Came for the cold brew , came back a second time for the food! The coffee is as delicious as it sounds, but the food was next level. My first visit we went for breakfast and was surprised by the amount of flavor and portion the avocado toast had. So of course I had to come back again to try their lunch options. Dare I say “the beach cruiser” is the best sandwich on the island?!! It’s a must try on a sunny day!

This is a great little breakfast and coffee stop. Bagels are fresh and sandwich was made to order. Enjoyed the avocado,egg,hashbrown wrap very much. Also had the fried chicken on a biscuit with strawberry jam. Cooked to perfection! This café is busy and orders kept coming in as we waited, though the staff was busy and working hard, all service was with a friendly smile. So glad we stopped in!

We wanted to love this place. It’s cute, close by, and had great reviews but our experience was disappointing. Our drinks took over 20 minutes, and the quality just wasn’t there. Iced drinks were watered down, with hot coffee poured directly over ice, and the matcha was like milk. We ended up going to a different place down the road and here is a comparison of the 2 different matcha’s (A Little Cafe is blue straw) For the price, we expected better. Hoping it was just an off day, but we likely won’t return.

I'll start with the variety - TONS of delicious options here. Next, quality- everything we had was delicious. Smoothie, breakfast pizza, muffin, coffee, acai bowl, baked goods. Next - options - gluten free options, vegan, sustainable containers, all very nice options. Which brings me to my final point: price. With all of this happening in a small space and being one of the only options in the immediate area, it's a little pricey. But honestly, given the quality, variety and location, I'll pony up the $$$!

I had the honey lavender matcha and the gluten free blueberry muffins and it was delicious. Great food and pastries and glad they have gluten free options.
