They need TEN stars. So I heard about ALT2 from my wife. A viral Instagram and TikTok viewer, she heard about them on social media. One evening she brought some wings home and I was hooked. When she text me and said I was picking up dinner, I knew where I was going. I ordered her wings and fries and I ordered lobster/shrimp fried rice for me. The owners make sure you understand there may be a wait as they get oxtail rice orders out. About 45 minutes in I get a call. They notified me that they oversold lobster, so I was more than happy with oxtails!! A few minutes later I get a 2nd call that she had some and wanted to give me my first choice. OMG!! Great tasting burger. Big patty, fresh ingredients, and it all tastes amazing. The fries were very good as well and the blackberry lemonade was top tier. If you’re in the Humble/Kingwood area I would highly recommend this spot. It’s even worth it if you’re not in the area! I will be coming back to try more food from them!

The food is delicious! I had the oxtail and shrimp friend rice, lemon pepper wing meal, strawberry lemonade, peach lemonade, and banana pudding. 10s across the board! And the service was just as great. My new place, I'm ready to eat through the menu!

My first time coming here after a 40 minute drive and it was definitely worth it!! 20/10 food is delicious and the service was excellent. I came for one thing and left with 3 different orders! I will definitely be back to try the Oxtail fried rice!!

If you haven’t tried “A Lil This A Lil That,” I highly recommend it! I drove an hour and 15 minutes, and they did not miss with the Oxtails and Shrimp Fried Rice. The oxtails were tender, and I didn’t even need to add soy sauce to the fried rice — it was already full of flavor and perfectly seasoned. I had enough food for the next day because I couldn’t finish it all in one sitting. Be sure to grab the lemonade with whatever flavor you like — it was good too! Jocelyn and her sisters were amazing with their customer service — warm, friendly, and professional. These sisters are definitely on their way to running a very successful business. Y’all need to stop by there — you won’t be disappointed! 🔥
