A & L Ham Palace

Best ham sandwich I’ve had - and I really like ham sandwiches. Clean place and friendly staff - the owner even came out to check on me when I was sitting in my car in case I was having some trouble. Big portions and small prices. The food is made diner-style in an open kitchen in front of the counter, so you see how fresh and real the ingredients are. Super quick too. So, skip the fast food or quick-sit breakfast chains and do this for a local, real diner & a really good breakfast.

Was told about this lil hole in the wall diner with the best bacon & ham in Mexicantown by my mechanic while waiting for my van to be fixed. It is family run business with great customer service. It is open for breakfast or lunch with great prices & large portions. Will DEF be back again.

Brought my wife today because I get to eat here while im at work but today was her first time and they didn't disappoint! Food is always amazing and you always leave with a smile. Drove all the way from Algonac for breakfast!

Place is great. Area isnt the best. But will still go. Owner is amazing. Just sucks something got stolen out of our work truck. I guess it can happen anywhere tho.. went back again. Still great

Great place to grab some lunch or breakfast. I had a hungry man breakfast that was delicious.This is truly a Detroit gem ,the family atmosphere and colorful group of regulars made it feel like a episode of Cheers minus the booze.
