The Denali room with a king-sized bed is nice and private, with an attached bathroom. The bathroom has a deep bathtub, which my muscles appreciated after a day when we walked two trails. The showerhead is large and detachable. The host left an ample supply of toilet paper and a couple of drawers with extra towels and bed sheets. There were plenty of wooden hangers in the closet. There is a wall-mounted television which could be adjusted to view from either the bed or the couch. Between the Denali room and the other upstairs bedroom (in the main house), there is a small lounge with a mini fridge, a microwave, a coffee maker, a water filter, and a table. The host, John, is very accommodating when he makes breakfast for every guest. It’s a filling breakfast, good for sending you off on an a

We had a relaxing two days staying in Cathie and John's B&B. Within walking distance of the Mendenhall Glacier via easy trails and walking distance to the bus stop for downtown. The glacier is a must do in Juneau with fantastic views. Cathie kindly picked us up from downtown after our adventure cruise. After dropping our bags off John gave us a quick preview of the glacier on the way to the bus stop to visit downtown. With exceptional hospitality,John asked if we would like to join them for dinner as a neighbour had offered them a freshly caught salmon. John and Cathie would not accept any payment for dinner. To cap it off another guest graciously offered us one of his beers each night of our stay. John and Cathie were friendly hosts. Our king room was spacious and comfortable. Breakfast

Our upstairs room was spacious, immaculate and comfortable. You are staying in someone's home in a residential neighborhood. John and Cathy were very nice and make you feel welcome. Picked us up from the ferry and even took us to the airport at the end of our stay. John cooks a nice breakfast each morning. ||||The location makes it easy to get around with an easy and beautiful drive to downtown. We rented a car from our hosts, which was okay for basic transportation. The yard is still under construction so there really isn't any place to sit outside. Do that at the glacier or one of the many beautiful trails.

Cathie and John are awesome people. They really make you feel comfortable. The breakfast was incredible! Always had a nice healthy meal prepared. The room was very cozy and comfortable. I had no complaints at all. I would definitely choose this place again.

John is very hospitable and friendly, and we’ve enjoyed staying here multiple times! Great location and he’s been kind enough to rent a car to us during our stays to help us get around. Would recommend!
