A Downtown B & B & B

This room matches the type of travelers we are. It had bed sitting area with TV. The bath had a good shower. The kitchen with small stove oven, sink, microwave, large hotel size refrigerator, Keurig coffee pot, dishes, and small eating island suited our needs. There was a washer and dryer and freezer to use in room next door. It came with a small rental car which we could only drive on pavement but that worked out okay. Our hosts, Lee and Annie, were very nice making sure we got what we needed throughout our stay. Lee picked us up from the airport and gave us a short tour of the town suggesting restaurants. He was also up early dropping us off at the airport at 5:30 AM. We definitely would choose to stay again!

Lee was engaging, fun and very informative. He picked us up at the airport and gave us a brief tour of the town, pointing out places of interest. He gave us great tips for restaurants and sightseeing. The B&B is in a perfect location for touring the town on foot. The price of his car rental is half of other rentals. Our room, with kitchen, was immaculate. We would definitely rebook with him. Sorry we missed Annie who was visiting family.

This was our first time to Kodiak and we stayed at the BEST place there! The room was extremely clean and stocked with everything you would need. The location was perfectly situated in the middle of the town, but still offered great privacy. Lee and Annie are the sweetest couple! They're very friendly and knowledgeable about things to do while we were there. We would definitely stay there again!! We've been telling everyone how great our experience was and if they go to Kodiak, that's the place to stay! MAHALO NUI LOA Lee & Annie ^_^ If we could give you 10 stars we would!!

I was lucky enough to ride on the same bus to Anchorage airport as Annie from A Downtown B & B, and that chance meeting changed the whole trajectory of my Kodiak experience for the better! Hosts Annie and Lee had a vacancy at their home stay and my quarters were a tastefully revamped room and bathroom decorated by photos taken around Kodiak by Lee. It was so cosy, warm and very spacious with all the amenities I could want (mini fridge, coffee machine, kettle, a shared washer and dryer and more!). Their bigger rooms have kitchens and a car too. Lee is also a boat captain for Adventures In Kodiak, and I joined a trip of his around Kodiak where we saw too many otters to count, multiple kinds of whales, seals, bald eagles, innumerable amounts of birds, wolverines and many more against the go

Lovely, we’ll-appointed studio! Lee and Annie are very accommodating hosts who are very attentive. Loved the room! The car is adequate but too little clearance for many of the roads! But what a treat, to be able to sightsee when and where we want!
