A Comer Bueno

Yes, this is a food truck but do not hesitate to eat here or order from them. They have a little seating area. Being raised in a Dominican household, I am picky with Dominican food. This is incredible Dominican food! We were a family of 7, and they served us and others Quickly. We got the biggest meat platter. "picarderia". I loved every bite. We also got chicken and cheese empanadas. Both amazing.

Delicious food that brings you back to the island!! Reminded me of my great grandma's cooking back home when I was younger and it instantly gave me comfort - put me in a good mood. :) Ate so fast, it was so good I- couldn't get a photo!!

Food is fire 🔥 we got a small fritura which is actually a lot the plate was heavy. We also got a cheese empanada which was delicious 🤤 and a chimi de carne🔥 we ate the chimi so fast I couldn’t take a pic.. but here’s the fritura pic:…. Buen provecho 😋

This is a hidden gem in Fort Myers. I work for Door Dash, did a photoshoot for A Comer Bueno today and as a food photographer, and I was impressed with the variety of cuisine. I am half Dominican and lived there for 11 yrs. The owners Larissa and Jose Castro and the staff are very lovely people. I had the pleasure of meeting them before the photoshoot. I have been living here in Fort Myers since 1997 and Dominican cuisine has not been very successful because it is not known in the area as cuban cuisine. After the shoot, the owner was happy to make "chicharron de cerdo" (Dominican pork grinds) and fries with Country Club (very popular Dominican soda). I highly encourage people from the community to check this gem out.

It was really good the rice and beans were awesome and I recommend the passionfruit drink, the only problem was the chicharron pollo had lots of bones
