A Chateau on the Bayou Bed & Breakfast

My sisters and I stayed at A Chateau on the Bayou. Claudette was extremely welcoming from the start of booking our stay. She asked about our travel plans and was able to provide helpful suggestions. Her B&B is well-situated and we used it as a hub for our trips to plantations, an air boat tour, and a day in New Orleans. There is a nice backyard area right along the bayou as well where we were able to relax before breakfast in the morning.

We stayed here for the honeymoon we didn't get to take when we first got married and we could not have been happier with our experience. We opted for the package that included a cake along with champagne and strawberries that we enjoyed by the bayou. This location was gorgeous and Claudette had plenty of recommendations about places to check out which made our vacation even more special. If you're looking for a place to stay with great food and a wonderful atmosphere this is it.

Claudette is an amazing hostess. Her home is immaculate. This is my second stay and am never disappointed. We ventured all over the area and were close to Houma where we did the Mandalay Trail that Claudette recommended to us. It was awesome! The room was beautiful and location very quiet. Breakfast was delicious both days we stayed. Sitting out in the beautiful yard, having my coffee each morning on the bayou, it was peaceful with wildlife. I saw an eagle fly right down the bayou!|

Claudette runs a beautiful B&B right on the bayou. She is a friendly and welcoming host and offers a home cooked breakfast every morning. The rooms are very comfortable and Claudette provides plenty of information about local attractions and amenities. We were delighted to stay in her home!

We enjoyed this adorable place on the bayou! Claudette was great in helping us figure out fun things to do in the area, great places to eat, and adventures to take! Breakfasts were so yummy and throughout. Would highly recommend to book this place if you like quaint, beautiful, places out of New Orleans traffic!
