9 Columns

We skipped off too a romantic night away from home to this beautiful B&B. Victor is such a gracious host and does everything to make you feel at home. The honeymoon suite was gorgeous and I especially enjoyed the bathroom opening to a balcony to see the sky at night. A wonderful place to hang out and reconnect. There’s a wrap around porch with lots of seating and swings, unfortunately I get cold easily otherwise I’d have sat outside with a book and wine. Something I plan on for our next visit

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our first time stay at 9 Columns! I booked the Lankford room because of the large jacuzzi tub, and my wife was able to relax and enjoy it very much. I didn't try it this time because of recent hip replacement surgery, but I will definitely try it next time! The room was well appointed and very comfortable.||||Victor, the owner/proprietor/chef was great! We made a lasting friendship having stayed here. The breakfast both mornings was southern and delicious. Victor made reservations for us for dinner at the best restaurant in Lyons, and we enjoyed a wonderful Saturday night dinner at Prime Cut Steakhouse just a few blocks from 9 Columns.||||The property is very nicely appointed, and Victor obviously cares that his guests are comfortable and enjoy their stay.

We visited 9 Columns the weekend before Valentines Day just traveling home after some business in South Georgia. We stayed on a Friday night. ||The house was simple to locate and there was adequate parking in the back. ||We were greeted by the host/owner Victor Wolfe. Just visiting with him was worth the price of the stay. ||The house is over 110 years old and Victor has filled it with rare antiques to include items from the DuPont mansion, bathroom doors from China in the 1500’s, and numerous items from Europe. We stayed in the Langford Room with a beautiful king bed. Victor showed us all the bedrooms and they were beautifully appointed. Our room even had a private deck. As a big city native and resident, I'm accustomed to constant movement, startling sounds, endless delays, and entitled attitudes, but not in Lyons, Georgia. From the very start of my stay at 9 Columns until the day of departure, I was smothered in southern hospitality. When I arrived via Uber, I was met at the doorway of 9 Columns by its owner, Dr. Victor Wolfe. He kindly welcomed me, offered assistance and gave brief overview tour of the elegantly appointed historic three-level estate. ||Unbeknownst to him, he was shifting me from cautious to comfortable. What an amazing experience! One of the most beautifully decorated homes I’ve ever laid eyes on! Not only is the art work amazing but the food was delicious and to top it off was the most welcoming and charming hoist you could ask for! Vector has a way of making you feel like family. We will definitely be returning to spend time in our new favorite B&B in the south!
