This experience was a pleasant surprise as this was picked by our kid as she had seen some reviews online and she is a fan of Hot Pot. We went here as a part of her Birthday wishlist and it turned out to be a satisfactory outing for all of us. 🍱 The ambience was simply great with spacious tables and space for hot pot and grill. 🥘 The food was sumptuous. Every item we ordered was so well-made. 🍗 The ‘BBQ on your own’ experience was truly worth it. 👨🏻🍳 The staff were extremely warm and welcoming. Our waiter Jean took special care of us and was there throughout to make our experience memorable. 🥗 My wife was a vegetarian and she did not have enough options to indulge. The team waived off her bill and that was so kind. The team was sweet enough to gift my kid with a soft toy teddy 🧸 for her
This was our second visit. Our first experience was positive. Pictures of food are from 1st visit. Food is good. During our second visit, we made a reservation for 7 people and confirmed in advance that part of our group would arrive about 10 minutes earlier than the rest. We were told this would not be an issue. When my parents arrived first, they were asked to wait instead of being seated, despite multiple open tables. When we arrived shortly after, staff insisted that the entire party must be present before seating us. When I asked to clarify the policy with the manager, she stated she was the manager and declined to further explain. When I asked to speak with the owner, the response was: “Do you want a table or not?” The tone and handling of the situation felt dismissive and unprof
Good overall Korean BBQ with solid value. I really liked the variety of side dishes — the small kimchi and pickled vegetables were actually very good, not just fillers. The Korean sweet and spicy sauce was well balanced and paired nicely with the meat. The meat is pre-marinated and has good flavor on its own after grilling, so you don’t need much extra seasoning. Overall, good taste and reasonable price. A place I’d come back to.
My boyfriend and I consume hotpot regularly, and wanted to stop in and try this new place nearby since we’d been mailed a 20% off coupon. Conceptually, this place is great. Even for the cheaper dinner menu, the options are immense and you’re bound to find something to your tastes. The sauce bar was also quite extensive. Unfortunately, that’s pretty much where my praises end. All of the food quality was just okay or even strange at times (see the Oreo tempura dessert - extremely chewy). The portion sizes are small, which normally I would enjoy so as to better take advantage of AYCE - but the night we were here (a Friday night), it was not only immensely packed, but our server mentioned a ticketing issue with the kitchen. We waited long times for our small portions of ingredients, averagin
We tried this restaurant this week. It’s on the north side 121 between Ohio and Preston. You can pick one of the all-you-can-eat options or both. AYCE choices are hotpot (which is broth and you boil the meat and veggies in the broth for a soup) or BBQ (you grill the meat). You cook at your table. We went on a weekday lunch and did BBQ. You order your appetizers, proteins, veggies, and dessert from a tablet at the table and the food comes out to you. You are allowed to order up to 15 items at one time and you may make your next order after a couple of minutes. There is a sauce bar, veggie/kimchi bar, fruits and a coffee flavored dessert that is included that you walk up to and get on your own. The seasoned meats were good- but none of us were a fan of the garlic chicken. I liked the abundan
