808 Shave Ice

First time trying this place. My daughter enjoyed the shaved ice. We ordered a small which was actually pretty large for being a “small”. The variety of choices are amazing and there’s something for everyone. I had the strawberry lemonade which was a bit much with the strawberry syrup. The hot dog was great and it was such a plus that it was an all beef hot dog. Our overall experience was great. We would definitely recommend this place and we look forward to returning.

After eating shave ice up to my eyeballs on the Big Island of Hawaii in February, there’s been a shave ice shaped hole in the hearts of myself and my husband. We were very keen to try 808 in Fairview Park after seeing some delicious looking photos of their shave ice on FB a couple weeks ago. We went today and the experience was great! It was like they took a shop straight from the islands and dropped it in Fairview Park. They really have it down pat. My husband ordered the 24 oz slush the 808 way with the “Front Street” flavor combo that included creamsicle, strawberry & mango syrup flavors for the slush and was topped with swirled with vanilla ice cream (you can choose other ice cream flavors) and topped with sweeten condensed milk and whipped cream. I started coming here about 3 summers ago and since then we come as soon as they open in May and try to come at least once a month; if not more. Prices are reasonable and this isn’t the “snow cone” you may be use to. This is literal snow not tiny ice cubes with syrup that all sinks to the bottom. The shaved ice is super smooth melt in your mouth no ice crystals to crunch through. They have a variety of flavors something for everyone! They keep the dine in tables very clean and the staff comes out and checks on you to ensure you’re enjoying your time with 808. I love it here, definitely our favorite summer tradition. I just wish you guys would open a location on the east side 🥲

The best shaved ice on the Westside! Every time we visit the food is delicious, the customer service is excellent, and the presentation is perfect. The pricing is affordable and they have a ton of options. I recommend the RWB flavoring or the Tiger’s Blood 808 Way slush (pictured). The Hana Lava, blue raspberry, and Lahaina Luna flavorings are also incredible. Highly recommend 808 Shave Ice!

First I had a trouble finding this place since there was no clear sign but after one roundabout finally found it. There are parkings available for 4-5 cars. This was my first time so We had no idea how big the shaved ice was. Trust me its huge. We felt like even a small size can be shared with two people. Good experience and employees were very kind. Will definitely go back!!
