7th Street Burger Forest Hills

I finally tried 7th Street Burger and WOW. It was SO good and tasted incredibly fresh. The burger was juicy, perfectly seasoned, and had that classic smashburger vibe with crispy edges and soft buns. Everything tasted hot off the grill 🤤 We didn’t have to wait at all (which was amazing), but just a heads up — seating is pretty limited. It’s definitely more of a quick, casual spot rather than somewhere you sit and hang for a long time. Also, the young lady at the counter was super polite and helpful, which made the whole experience even better. Great food and good service? Love that. 10/10 would go back 🍔🤌

I had high hopes, but this was a disappointing visit. Right from opening the package, the burger wrapper was completely soaked in oil—oil actually dripped onto my hands. Very unappetizing. Once opened, the bun was fully soggy, drenched in grease with no structure left. It felt wet and doughy rather than toasted or supportive. The burger flavor itself was okay, nothing terrible but nothing special either. With a properly toasted bun, it might have been passable—but the texture completely ruined it. The fries, however, were excellent: crispy, well-seasoned, and perfectly cooked. For around $15 for a burger and fries, this level of execution is hard to justify. The burger and fries are delicious. Only downside is it doesn't come with lettuce or tomatoes, so I add it when I get home. But for the price I can't complain.

Greasy, gooey, old fashioned style juicy burger! The fries were hot and extra crispy. Beverage choices are limited. No diet soda. The counter guys were super friendly and had a good rhythm going. The place was packed but the line kept moving and the food was coming out pretty quickly. There are a good amount of tables and stools to sit out. Keep an eye out for it, the store front isn't that big so it's easy to walk by.

🍔 7th Street Burger was amazing! We got the double burger, fries, and Sprite. It's super close to the subway and buses. The vibe was trendy. There are tables with stools and some standing-only spots. They could've put in a counter for more seating, though. We had to wait for a table while our food was being made. The service was great; he brought our food right to us. The music was a little weird, but it was fine. There's a ketchup packet bucket and a bottle opener for the glass Cokes. We totally loved 7th Street Burger and are definitely going back!
