7 Brew Coffee

7 Brews used to be my FAVORITE!!! But, Idk if they changed the recipe/ingredients on smoothies or what but I went to 2 different 7 Brews in 2 different cities today and got my usual order (Strawberry Smoothie....in fact it's the only thing I ever get). They are always pink but this time they were purple, they were not sweet, did not have a strawberry flavor and they left a prowdery taste and gritty filling in my mouth. I let me husband try it, he felt the same way and wouldn't drink it so we gave it to our son who will drink almost anything....he drank it but he didn't care for it because he likes the way they used to taste.

Arrived just before 9pm, and waited in line over fifteen minutes prior to getting to order despite there only being 3 vehicles ahead of us. The guy taking orders was taking one vehicles order at a time, then waiting until their drinks were delivered before he would greet the next vehicle. Staff was inside playing on their phones the entire time, it took almost 25 minutes to get through the line, when there were hardly any customers to tend to. The staff here seems to be predominantly teenagers, and could benefit from more senior staff or management presence. Only person we saw actually trying to help the waiting customers was a girl with a lot of face piercings, I didn’t catch her name though.

I go to 7 brews often. Normally takes at least 20 to go through the line. When I went to get my usual they charged my card, then when I got to the front of the line they asked to see my banking app to see that my charge went through. On my banking app that I showed it said pending just like all my other charges for the day and they told me they had to charge me again or I couldn’t receive my product even though I already paid for it. They told me if I paid for it now twice and it both went through then I could come back and get my money. I told them no. I’m not paying two times for one coffee and then have to come back to get my money back. They said it didn’t go through on their end. I explained that that’s not my problem. This may be an off day or a normal day, I honestly dont know. I usually dont come here when they are busy because I know my limits on lines etc. I had a few extra minutes to wait in line for a smoothie for my child as the poor kiddo had an accident to their teeth so I bring back a smoothie. . At the end of the line it was a single line. I get up where the lane splits, naturally every other car goes to the other lane. I don't know if it was because I'm in a little car and it was a big truck in front of me. But I go to the outer lane. Before my order was even taken the truck I was behind is getting his drinks and there's still two cars in front of me. Then people taking orders leave my lane where they're taking the orders and go to the other lane to start taking orders over there. So two p

Stopped in at 7Brew today for a medium breve with an extra shot of espresso...sadly, it tasted like they forgot to put ANY amount of espresso in it. $6.50 for half and half 😔
