5 Lakes Lodge Bed & Breakfast

Stayed at the lodge for an extended weekend and could not have been happier! Fantastic location, wonderful staff and delicious food. Bed and furnishings were comfortable, lodge was quiet, view was amazing and owners some of the nicest people you will ever meet in you life. They go out of their way to ensure your stay is wonderful. Our room was the Katahdin and is was just perfect. It's a great base to explore the area from, including Baxter State Park. I highly recommend staying there even if you just hang at the lodge to enjoy the peace and quiet.

The 5 Lakes Lodge was a delight in every aspect. The lakeside property provided some of the most spectacular sunsets we’d ever seen. Our room overlooked the island-dotted lake and had every amenity one could ask for. The breakfasts were wonderful and wonderfully varied. And the staff steered us to terrific restaurants in Millinocket, and told us everything we needed to know to navigate Baxter State Park.|What a find!

Stayed for a weekend in Dec 2024 when my wife and I ran the Millinocket Half Marathon. Everything about our experience was top notch. It actually made a good weekend great. Already booked rooms to return in Dec 2026 and bringing friends from Huntsville with us. We can't wait.

This was a fantastic place! Next time I will stay longer! I stayed two nights and thoroughly enjoyed sitting outside looking at the view of Katahdin over the lake. I went early to Baxter State Park the second morning and they had put a breakfast sandwich and some fresh fruit in my fridge. I'm grateful to Matt for his advice on Baxter. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming, and it was the perfect combination of luxurious and low-key! I also loved how peaceful and quiet it was there - just what I was looking for!

The 5 Lakes lodge is brilliantly situated on a small peninsula looking across a gorgeous loke right at Mt. Katahdin. It's also easily accessible from a rural highway, but set far enough back yhat there is zero road noise. Everything about the setting is idyllic.||The lodge itself is very attractive, and all the staff are knowledgeable, enthusiastic locals. Breakfast is always tasty, and hearty enough to launch you into your daily adventures.||Love this place. Would really love to go back for a longer stay.
