478 Country Buffet

Great place to eat delicious food for the best prices in town. And for all-you-can-eat, I don't know of any other restaurants who can compete. This was my first time but will not be the last. I highly recommend 478 Country Buffet for anyone who likes home cooked style meals.

Somewhat small establishment, very busy on Sundays. The food is okay, half of it I enjoyed and the other half was a no. I really enjoyed the fried chicken, collard greens, cornbread and beans. I tried the mac and cheese and dressing and it was a no! The mashed potatoes and green beans were okay. My server was awesome! The sweet tea was the best!

I haven't had such FANTASTIC BLACK EYED PEAS since my mother made them when I was a kid. They were so delicious, I had 3 bowls. Other than those, the food varied. The chicken, corn bread and meatloaf were good. The corn and green beans were okay. The cobbler was all gone before we arrived and was never replenished. I scraped a little from the pan and it tasted good. I would return here if I was going through Byron, Ga. again.

Small all-you-can-eat buffet with the best fried chicken ever!! I visited on a Saturday afternoon, and I absolutely loved it!! The food was hot and seasoned. The buffet was kept clean and well stocked. A salad bar and small dessert bar, which consisted of fruits, brownies, and little cups of ice cream, is also included. Nothing fancy, just a quiet, little spot with some good ole country eating going on!!

I've been here probably 10 times in the last 3 years. I don't get to eat out much but I do go when I'm visiting family because I'm from the Warner. Robins area. This is one of my favorite 3 restaurants there in Byron. And one of Robbins, the people are usually very nice, most of the time. The food is great this last time. I don't know what happened with the peach. Cobbler is not the same, but everything else was awesome. Especially the livers, I love the livers
