42nd Street Bagel Cafe Upland

I'm so glad this place finally opened! I was so excited to try this place and will definitely be a regular here. Theres plenty of indoor seating and the patio too. I've gotten a plan bagel with peanut butter and just returned to try their Eggwhich sandwich. Delicious and right by the metrolink station in Upland

I'm sorry to see them have such a rough opening. We have always loved the Claremont location and were thrilled to finally get a bagel place in downtown Upland. Unfortunately I don't really have a positive review to add to these other mixed ones. The bagels are good, however when we asked if cream cheese was included the cashier said yes. When paying there was an extra dollar charge for the cream cheese-which does not mean it's included? Even though $1 is a bit steep for some cream cheese I'm fine with paying, I just wish they were upfront about the price/not being included when we explicitly asked. Also it's $1 for 2 oz of cream cheese or $4 for 4 oz of cream cheese which doesn't make sense. We ordered the iced matcha latte and it tastes pretty weird, very watered down so not quality match

Bagels by themselves are pricey! Majority of bagels I saw on the racks were small with no holes, disappointing since they are $3.50 each. They offer a smear and Lox mixture with very little Lox. Ordered a BLT they had NO LETTUCE, Substituted with breakfast bacon sandwich got 1 small piece of bacon. Sandwich cost $8.99 once again disappointing! Won't be going back. Over priced food skimpy on portions! Tired of businesses over charging and giving very little! AFTER READING other reviews I wanted to say this, If you own a food business then you should already have your recipes and process down pact! I'm referring to your bagels looking like small biscuits and selling them for high value asking $3.50 per bagel! That is NOT GOOD BUSINESS! Nor does it show you care about providing quality produ

This is definitely not a bagel, it’s a biscuit that tastes somewhat like a bagel. Definitely won’t be coming back.

Such a cute interior. The cherry pastry was so flaky and delicious. I got a latte with oat milk and it was great. The jalapeno cheese bagel was toasty and spicy.
