What a truly beautiful experience at 3rd Street Market Cafe. From the moment I walked in, the energy felt warm and welcoming. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, and the owner even took the time to come out and greet everyone, which says so much about the heart behind this place. The breakfast was absolutely amazing. Every bite tasted like my mom’s and my abuela’s cooking, comforting, nostalgic, and made with so much care. I also love that they do not use seed oils, which makes the food feel even more intentional and nourishing. Their coffee and matcha are top tier, but the cafe de olla is truly to die for. Met Ruben. Super friendly and chill guy. Very friendly environment. They talk to you like you’re family. Food: we ordered their breakfast burrito. It was a big boy! We also got The East LA Club. Drinks: we ordered the Biscoff cookie latte and a matcha latte with an added shot of espresso (extra star because they were able to customize our drink) Parking: The Parking lot is small but we didn’t have trouble finding parking in the adjacent street. I want to bring my parents for their menudo!

I come to Third Street Market at least once a week and it doesn’t disappoint. The works breakfast burrito is hands down my favorite! It’s hefty enough for two meals and holds up beautifully as leftovers. All of their salsas are made in house and you can taste the difference. The green sauce is my favorite. Chef’s kiss. It takes the burrito to another level. The coffee is consistently delicious. Smooth, strong, and well balanced. I recently picked up iced coffee and matcha for a team and everyone loved it. The service is great. Everyone is friendly and welcoming, which keeps me coming back. Another big plus is their meal prep selection. I've been a regular here since before they started getting popular and I can say that the food & customer service stayed high quality. Prices are fair as well, especially for a small business. I try to come once a week, especially for the pozole, since that's my favorite. Everything else is really good too, especially the burritos. I love that they're getting more recognition because they definitely deserve it! The owner and employees are all so nice. I'd recommend the pozole and biscoff cookie (if available). I'll definitely try to keep my tradition of coming once a week.

3rd Street Market is such a special spot in East LA. My girl and I tried the café de olla latte and the matcha latte—both were absolutely delicious and perfectly crafted. I had the breakfast sandwich and she ordered the pozole, and both were incredibly comforting. On top of the great food and drinks, Oscar’s vibe and hospitality made the whole experience even better. Definitely a place we’ll be coming back to!
