I drove all the way from NYC just to try the turkey wings and pig feet, and let me tell you it was 100% worth the trip. This soul food spot did not disappoint. Every single bite had so much flavor, my mouth was watering the whole time. The food was seasoned perfectly, cooked tender, and tasted like real home cooked comfort food. Whew. Have you ever had food so good you didn’t want to wait to get home to eat it? That’s what happened here. Matter fact, the food was so good I’m sitting in my truck writing this review before I leave to go home. I had a lot of food lol. I had the fried chicken dinner either Mac n cheese and collards / needless to say / I SMACKED that with some good old Texas Pete. I also had a slice of cornbread, which was super yummy, potato salad, sweet potato soufflé and a slice of sweet potato pie. The chicken was cooked to order and it was piping hot,. Seasoned well and cooked through.. Always friendly and food is good. The prices are very reasonable for a good dinner. I do like my Mac and cheese more cheesy with firm pasta. The cornbread is always really good.

The fish was fried and seasoned just right. Very good. Although the greens were a little too sweet, they were tasty. The Mac and cheese was delicious. The location is unassuming and small but worth the stop.

This is Queen I just order baked chicken and yams and Mac for the second time, shut your mouth don’t have nothing on yall, yams was sweet and right Mac and cheese just a lil salt and pepper added bussing, definitely a satisfied returning customer
