Thanks so much for this Country Store & Deli !!! Have you ever gotten into your car and said, "Let's drive over to Port Republic, Va., to view the Delicious items made FRESH DAILY at 340 Quick Stop"? Well, yesterday me and my Friend & Socks did & let me tell you something DON'T GO IN THERE HUNGRY like We did !!! We brought Steamed shrimp, Delicious Homemade Chicken noodle soup, pork BBQ, and a few other items ... my friend said her pickled eggs were so good !!! So, get out today and drive on over !!! Their Deli is open til 4 pm !!! Yes They have Fresh Select Oysters, too !!!!

This is where you want to buy delicious fresh country ham. We walked in and they gave us a taste test of the country ham. We walked out with three halves of country ham - the ham was delicious. When we were handling the hams they had a natural oil on them which meant they were fresh. We paid $30-$37 for each half ham. Great price. They also had a selection of mixed corn on the cob, fresh tomato and other local products. We even saw candy cigarettes-LOL. I highly recommend this nice little country store.
I love the nostalgic atmosphere. The ham sandwich sliders are delicious. They have old fashioned Christmas candy !
It's a great place to get a sandwich that gives you the meat that you're paying for. It's not a small sandwich. I got just two different meats and cheese for $6. If you're in the area I would definitely stop by.
