2 Rivers Inn the Thousand Islands

Our 3 day stay was amazing! It was hard to leave. Could not ask for a better location when visiting Gananoque. Debbie & Silvio were perfect hosts and their accommodations were exceptional. Highly recommend booking your stay here when in the area. Will definitely be back!

2 Rivers. A Thousand Islands. One Amazing Vacation. There are just some special, out of the ordinary places you come across in this world, and we were fortunate enough to have found the 2 Rivers Inn in Gananoque, Ontario, Canada, in the heart of the Thousand Islands. Debbie and Silvio Conte had recently renovated their charming old riverfront home on the Gananoque River when we found their vacation listing online. It was Spring of 2025 when we contacted them to book a week’s stay in their beautifully appointed guest suite downstairs from their home. It’s a good thing we booked our August stay when we did, since 2 Rivers has already become a popular vacation rental. No wonder, really, when you consider the excellent taste and luxurious details throughout the suite. High ceilings, quality

We had the most beautiful time!! It was so clean, the towels so plush and the bed was so comfortable even equipped with robes in the closet!! Outside were 2 luxurious padded chairs where you had such a pretty view of the River!! You can walk everywhere!! Just park the car and if you turn right from the driveway you are in the direction of the Gananoque Marina, lovely restaurants and a boat tour of the river if you so choose. If you turn left from the driveway, you are into the quaint town of Gananoque with lots of shops, restaurants and a LCBO. They even have three churches on Stone Street that are open for viewing from 2 - 4 on Tuesday’s and Thursday’s with such knowledgeable people to answer any questions you may have or simply show you around their church!! Könnte nicht besser sein !! Auf unserer dreiwöchigen Rundreise durch Ostkanada waren wir an vielen schönen Plätzen, aber dieser Platz ist etwas ganz besonderes und kann ich jedem nur empfehlen, am besten zwei drei oder noch besser vier Tage bleiben ... es ist einfach wundervoll in den bequemen Stühlen abends bei einem Glas Wein auf den Fluss zu schauen nach einem erlebnisreichen Tag in Gananoque (unbedingt eine Schifffahrt machen). Debbie, die Besitzerin, ist eine Perle von Mensch und das Zimmer - eigentlich mehr ein Apartment - ist liebevoll eingerichtet mit kleinen Aufmerksamkeiten wie Cookies, Bananen etc. - man fühlt sich willkommen und wohl ! Schade, dass es für uns nicht gerade um die Ecke liegt, sonst würden wir tatsächlich gerne mal wieder dort übernachten.
