2 Nine Five (House of Artisan Chicken Burgers & Gourmet Fish & Chips)

Good! The food was tasty and made fresh to order. Because they do limited prep, wait time can be a little long (we waited about 30 minutes) so not an ideal spot for a quick lunch, but it did taste good. The fish and chips were crispy perfect. We also tried the nashville sandwich, personally I did not prefer the thick crust on the chicken but my partner enjoyed it very much! Staff are friendly and very attentive.

The family that are running this place are the kindest, nicest, most attentive people! We came based off of a social media recommendation and we were even more pleased with it than we thought we would be. They came over multiple times to see if we needed anything. My daughter and her husband were married yesterday so they gave them a couple of extras. They were just all so nice and the food was EXCELLENT! I highly recommend this place. You leave feeling like family. I wish them all of the success that they deserve!

The place might not look like much but looks are deceiving. The fish and chips is among the best. Period. The batter is perfect. The fact that's the fish is freshly dispped in batter and fried makes it even better. The fries are a whole another level. Perfect crunch. We got both garlic parm and Cajun seasoning. Highly recommend visiting this family-run local restaurant.

So so delicious! Everyone should absolutely check this place out if you are in Niagara. You can tell the food is made super fresh and with a lot of care. We ordered way too much food but I wouldn’t have done it any different because I absolutely wanted to try more items. We ordered fish and chips, classic poutine, garlic fries, chicken parm burger, the sparkler, and north south on a waffle (not pictured). Loved all of it, (even my least favorite was so delicious) but I would say my favorite is the chicken waffle (north south). I have ordered similar things all over the south US and this one is the best I have ever had (not pictured because it was devoured). Plenty of seating both indoor and outdoor and excellent personal service from the owner and his family.

Artisan is an understatement!! The food is Sooo good. Everyone in our party loved what they chose. Fresh food. Amazing flavours, they under charge for the quality of food they provide. Worth the 10 minute drive away from the falls. I enjoyed the waffle sandwich, as a person who enjoys spice it was mild but full of flavour. Would recommend to anyone who can handle a slight kick.
