1st Base BBQ

Best damn BBQ north of Kansas city. I swear. Ribs fell off the bone. Meat was super tender and juicy. And the sauce.... just come down and try it yourself. You wont be disappointed. Chicken. Wings. And fixins to go with it. Everything was great!

Best barbecue in Waterloo! Ive eaten there at least 5 times. The baked beans and potato salad compliment the barbecue very well. When ordering they are always very patient and professional. Wish I had more pictures but it’s so good I always forget to take a photo.

The thing about this BBQ is the sauce being unique in a great way. It's just, at 1st base, it's a little different. The combination of smoky and sweet is very memorable and if you're about to forget get ready for a burp that will remind you oh that BBQ sauce was amazing. I'm serious. We all burp after eating sometimes. Well there's that aftertaste and when you burp after eating 1st base, you say to yourself, oh yeah that barbeque sauce was really legit. I'm not playing around. If the food is hot and fresh here, you are going to be dining on something serious. So far all I've had are the rib tips and the wings. Let me tell you, that's enough to know that this is the best BBQ in the cedar valley.

The tips were on point. They had a crispy exterior with a tender meat interior. The BBQ sauce brought it all together. Unfortunately they were already sold out on their ribs so I’ll have to go back for those
