1880 House

This is the best place ever to kick back after a day on the river! Linda is a warm welcoming host that makes you feel like you've known her for years. I could go on and on about how wonderful everything was.The accommodations,the food, and the location. But the real treat, is the peaceful easy feeling that overtakes you while you're there. I've been around a bit in my 63 years, and I can tell you the place has a vibe you don't find often. This is the best place ever - looking forward to going back!

You can not beat the welcome that the owner(Linda) extends when you stay at the 1880 House. She couples an extremely clean facility with homemade soups and bread plus many breakfast options to make your stay very enjoyable. I have stayed on three occasions in the past year and have really enjoyed my visits. Sharing meals and conversations with fellow anglers adds to the atmosphere.

Fantastic place to stay. Linda is such a sweetheart and makes delicious soups. Five different crockpots of amazing soups available all day. Our room was very clean and comfortable. Location was great and very convenient to places to eat after a great day of fishing.

2-day snowmobile trip to Tug Hill. I really wanted something close to the Sandy Creek exit 37 off route 81. I thought that a B&B might be more unique than the other alternatives nearby. And a bit nicer. The room and the hospitality could not have been better. And the price for this place is truly a steal! This house really is something to see. I will return, and with other family members next time. My favorite part was opening up my bottle of wine and relaxing in the living room after a long day on the trails. I highly recommend 1800 House!

Best accomodations for anyone fishing in Pulaski, hands down! Key features are the wonderful, welcoming and flexible hostess/owner Linda, who over 30 years of doing this here has truly mastered the art of anticipating and accomodating her guests’ every need. |||| Far beyond providing breakfast, Linda’s humongous kitchen can pretty much accomodate guest’s hunger, thirst, and cravings 24 hours a day. Fishing ffrom pre-dawn to after dusk? You’ll have access to a stick to your ribs breakfast, and upon tour return, 3 or 4 different hearty homemade soups are hot on the stove, with fresh baked bread and treats. ( Cheeseburger Soup and Italian Wedding Soup were standouts!). |||| Monday night was dinner night, optional for guests for just $27, a 5 course gourmet dinner I’ll picture below. ||||
