1850's Guest House

This is a great B&B. The house is beautiful and so is the owner. Patty was amazing and a great cook. She was friendly and just a sweet person. my bed was comfortable and I love the room. I was in Kimberly. I would have stayed long if I could have. Great place to unwind and relax. her sofas are super comfy.

What a mansion!! Absolutely beautiful! A group from our church went for a Christmas party with a catered meal and an evening of our own entertainment and fellowship. The 3-course meal was excellent and the dining room very adequate. The commons room was also very accommodating for our fellowship evening of sing-along and devotionals. A piano is provided as well. And Pat is a wonderful hostess. We enjoyed the homey atmosphere very much.

This was our first time to stay at a Bed & Breakfast and Patty made us feel so welcomed from the moment we arrived. Her home is just beautiful and everything was so very clean. We really enjoyed the era of this home as well as hearing the history behind it. Breakfast was simply amazing as well. You couldn’t ask for a better experience. Thanks, Patty. You are beautiful inside and out and so is your home.

Coming back home after years away is difficult but with the gracious hostess and fantastic accommodations at the 1850's house I may come back a lot more often! Our room was very comfortable and easily accommodated my two grown daughters, toddler grandson, and myself. The furnishings in our room were in keeping with the period of the house except for the TV. The attached bath was modern and top notch with a fantastic shower. The one thing that put it over the top was the premiere breakfast each day. We were even offered extra sweets for the road. Patty is a wonderful cook with such a sweet and calm disposition!

I had been traveling for 3 days and was tired and looking for a place when I drove by. I found a phone number, turned around and went back. The Hostess was wonderful, very nice breakfast and a quiet nights rest. It was late summer and I was the only guest that night.
