It’s not bad but definitely can be better, not many options but the food is not bad at all, also the place it’s nice.
Staff should put more concern in the quality of the food instead of worrying about serving only one meat per person. I would be embarrassed to serve such slop to my fellow soldiers. How hard is it to reheat Sysco food? I think they think up ways to mess up the food to share their sadness in picking the wrong MOS. I can taste their tears in the food.
The food is either over cooked or under cooked especially with the meats. The feggs (fake eggs) are always under cooked and it's basically watery.
This DFAC is run by 7ID. They have just come back from USFK and are opening the building as a full-service dining facility. It has the standard DFAC hours for meals. If you notice anything broken, please bring it up to one of the cooks wearing their PC indoors, and they'll place a work order in and get it fixed ASAP. The food gets better every day, and it's self-serve to boot!
One of the best dining facilities in JBLM.
