Food was good. From the menu options to the flavor amd quality. Honestly, everything was perfect except for one thing. I ussually don't send food back and maybe I could have or should have. I ordered the braised lamb shank. It was delicious, however as I got closer to the middle of it, I started to get cool(almost cold). Which told me a lot...and it makes sense. They dont braise them fresh that day. They make a bunch days before, maybe even freeze them. Then they heat rhem up when ordered for dinner. That does make sense. But they didnt thoroughly heat mine all the way. Again, it wasn't until I was really into it did I realize it. The flavor was excellent. But that is my only criticism. I would go back there. Service was excellent, atmosphere was great. We enjoyed our night out.

Went out on a dinner date on a Saturday night. We were sat in an uncomfortable table, every time someone passed by they would bump on my partner’s elbow. An apology was given by the host as we left the restaurant stating that next time they will seat us at a better table. I was more disappointed in the food, lack of flavor and change in ingredients. This is not my first time ordering the moussaka and this time they’ve changed it by adding a lot more spinach and taking away the rest of the ingredients. My partners ribs were okay in flavor and very tough to chew. I will not consider coming back as it has changed not in a good way. I don’t consider the place authentic cuisine.

We came here for lunch today after a dance competition in the area. Ordered seafood orzo and lamb ragu pasta. Both were delicious. The zucchini and eggplant chips were crunchy and dessert was great as well.

We first had dinner here on a Thursday night. The restaurant was relatively empty. Our server Constantine was very friendly and accommodating to make sure there were no food allergy issues and everything was prepared the way we liked it. Before any food arrived we enjoyed complimentary pita bread with cheese, olive and beet spreads. We started with stuffed grape leaves and grilled calamari appetizers. Both were amazing, and large portions. Unlike other restaurants, where the calamari is served in small rings, here we got three huge grilled calamari. For entrees we got the grilled salmon and whole grilled red snapper. The fish was fresh, perfectly prepared and delicious. 12 Islands is the real deal. The food is superb. I've been coming here for years and never been disappointed! I've even had them cater for me. Billy and staff will take good care of you!
