I seriously had to leave a review, just because the only other review here is SO SO SO wrong that I cannot believe it was even written. I had the Soy Honey Chicken (small) and fries. I can wholeheartedly say that the quality here is phenomenal, and I think it’s even on the same level as Pelicana Chicken and Bonchon. As for the price, the amount we got for the small was enough for me and my fiancé. Now real quick, I want to talk about the taste. I even shared with a random stranger who was sitting next to me, and we all agreed that it was fantastic. The fries were crispy and flavorful. And last but not least, the owner/worker whoever was there was one of the nicest people I have ever met. I seriously had to write this review because when I saw that one-star on Google, I could not let t
I ate 2 chicken drumsticks without any flavors on them. Crispy and slightly tough skin. The meat wasn't dry, but it wasn't juicy either. A pretty neutral taste, i assume because it is suppose to have sauce. I give it 3.5 stars. I would eat it again. 2 of my companions found the chicken drumsticks dry and unseasoned. They will not eat it again. My final companion was happy to dip the drumstick in ketchup and devour it. The chicken came out very hot. Took the leftovers home. There is a bathroom nearby. It is okay.
101 chicken’s soy honey flavor is similar with Don Chicken’s soy garlic chicken, which was my favorite menu. I tried their soy honey wings, and it is very crispy outside even with the sauce, and the meat is very tender and moist. The owner/cashier was super friendly, and his recommendation of flavor and size was a great choice. I’ll definitely come back to try other flavors.
I loved the hot and spicy boneless chicken. It was juicy and seasoned well. For us, it wasn’t too spicy since we love spicy food but definitely nostalgic Korean fried chicken flavor. Gentleman in the front (seemed he was the owner) was super nice and friendly
I tried original chicken, garlic crumble, and rose ddukbokki. Original chicken was very crispy and the side truffle mayo sauce was very good. Garlic crumble was also very flavorful. I highly recommend trying ddukbbokki (떡볶이). If you love mildduk (밀떡), you are at the right place. Their ddukbokki also has lots of topping. They put mildduk(밀떡) + flat Dangmyun( 납작 당면) + lots of fishcake.
