1000 Degrees Pizza - Spring Hill, FL

I’ve been here before and the food was always pretty decent. However this time I ordered the exact same thing I always do which is a margherita pizza. This time the basil was charred and disgusting it absolutely ruined the pizza. It was very plain and nothing special at all (other than the bitter basil) certainly not $23 worth of pizza. I tried to call and let them know what happened (mind you when I went in the woman was very nice). I told her about the mistake and she told me to call back after 6 when the manager was there. That would’ve been fine except she also tried to lie to me and tell me they have been doing it that way for about 4 years now. I ordered the standard New York Cheese well done. IT WAS AMAZING! We couldn't be happier. I'm so picky on pizza and only like it spotted and we'll done so when a place does it right I have to give 5 stars! Wish yall the best!

4.8 Stars, Pleasantly surprised, saw the reviews and expected less. The pizza crust was very, very good. Super delicious, great crunch with a perfect chew to it, just like NY pies. This place was really good. The pizza was fantastic and they were able to accommodate with swapping an ingredient. We also got wings with were delicious but a little too crispy and not wet enough. It was still really good, and I’d order them again, I would just ask for them to be a little more “wet”. We also got the cinnamon sticks and they were too oily for my liking. The guys there were working really hard and seem to enjoy the job. We will be back!

I really want to like this place, so I will give it another try. On the first go around it was not great. My pizza really needed a larger spread of toppings. Out of 8 slices, 4 had literally a single bite worth of toppings, another 2 had about half coverage. It was kinda tough to eat since nearly half the pizza was just chewy bread. The wings were okay, the sauce was pretty tasty. The wings are those jumbo style you see around. They were juicy and the amount of sauce was not over the top. They are not my preference, but, I'm not going to hold that against them.
